External Cargo Sling-Training
ECS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

The ability to use an External Cargo Sling ECS is a precondition for working as a transport pilot.
Helo-Airwork, the training institute of HTC Helicopter Training Charter GmbH and AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH (A&H), offers experienced flight instructors who have completed thousands of ECS hours. We prefer to train our participants on the Robinson Raven II but training on the AS 350 is also possible.

Pilots must have a sense of space, the necessary skills to perform confidently on difficult territory and the ability to cooperate and work effectively with the ground crew.

The Federal Office of Civil Aviation prescribes several stages for ECS training. The different training steps can be found under the links on left-side
