Basic marshaller training
(at corporate level)

Prototype course for the application of the FOCA training model regarding the "vocational education of marshallers". On the basis of the EASA OPS COM (draught).

Target group:
  • trainee marshallers, in collaboration with pilots attending helicopter external cargo training
  • Shortline/Longline (CH-ECS)
Prerequisites:
  • being healthy, in good physical shape and efficient
  • being used to physical work in any atmospheric conditions and in any terrain
Aim of the course:
  • to convey specific knowledge at an appropriate level, to stimulate the decision-making capacity and to lead the participants to put newly acquired know-how into practice.
  • to guarantee a significant increase in safety and a considerable reduction in occurrences and costs by the learning and subsequent adoption of basic rules.
  • to transfer standardised basic knowledge and state-of-the-art working techniques into practical skills which are safely performed.
  • to provide state-of-the-art training on the basis of an acknowledged rule of technology (Marshaller Syllabus), which evolves on a common platform and under the supervision of the authorities.
  • to relieve companies of the time-consuming gathering of teaching materials and the preparation of courses.
  • to raise the quality of training to a standardised level.
