Marshaller ground instruction
for pilots (ECS)*


This course is part of a pilot training course.

Target group:

• All pilots, pilots attending helicopter external cargo training (ECS/professional Long Line training course), marshallers or persons working as marshallers (pilots, mechanics, others), employees of rescue services, forest or construction enterprises, fire brigades, disaster relief organisations (THW), the police, etc.

Prerequisites:

• being healthy, in good physical shape and efficient
• being used to physical work in any atmospheric conditions and in any terrain
• already attending the ECS / professional Long Line training

Aim of the course:

• to convey specific knowledge at an appropriate level, to stimulate the decision-making capacity and to lead participants to put newly acquired know-how into practice.
• to guarantee a significant increase in safety and a considerable reduction in occurrences and costs by the learning and subsequent adoption of basic rules.
• to provide state-of-the-art training on the basis of an acknowledged rule of technology (Marshaller Syllabus).
